Campfire Potatoes and onions are a basic staple of campfire cooking. Easy to make and as always if you can do some of the prep at home, I’d encourage you to do so.
Foil cooking also helps with cleanup as it’s just a simple matter of throwing away the foil after the meal is prepared.
I’d also suggest using a bit of non-stick cooking spray or a small amount of cooking oil on the foil before adding your ingredients and turn over frequently to avoid burning.
